Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
Made by Manning LLC ("Made by Manning," "I," "we," or "us") is a Colorado limited liability company that designs and maintains websites for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through made-by-manning.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the contact form, book a consultation, call, text, or email us, you may share:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your business name, type of business, and current website
- Your preferred way to be contacted and anything you write in your message
- Details you provide when booking a meeting through our scheduling page
- Questions you type into the "Ask AI" chat assistant
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to keep the Site secure and working properly. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that counts visits and measures page speed without using cookies or tracking you across other websites. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to block bots and attacks. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on the Site.
The "Ask AI" chat assistant. The chat on our Site is an automated AI assistant, not a person, and its answers can be wrong. Your questions are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a reply and are not saved by us after your chat. Please don't enter passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information. For anything specific, contact us directly.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare your free visibility check, prototype, or consultation
- To schedule and hold meetings you book with us
- To provide, maintain, and support services you hire us for, including sending invoices and service updates
- To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and improve how it works
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
If you send us your information, we may follow up about your request. We will not add you to a marketing email or text list unless you ask to be added, and you can opt out of any follow-up at any time.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do their job:
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the Site, provides basic, cookie-free visitor statistics, and runs the AI model behind the "Ask AI" chat
- Google Workspace (Gmail and Google Calendar), which we use for email and for our online booking page. When you book a time, Google processes your booking under its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the Site's typefaces. Loading them means your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address.
- Form delivery services, which deliver contact form submissions to our inbox
- Payment and invoicing providers, if you become a client and pay us online
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
4. Client websites
When we build or maintain a website for a client, that client is responsible for the information collected through their own site and for their own privacy policy. We handle any customer data from a client's site only to provide our services to that client, as set out in our service agreement with them.
5. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as it is useful for responding to you or providing services, and business and billing records for as long as required for tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those legal requirements.
6. How we protect it
The Site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we use reputable providers with strong security practices. We limit access to your information to what is needed to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you
To make a request, email peyton.manning@made-by-manning.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, and we will honor them as required.
8. Children
The Site is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites, including example sites, booking pages, and client sites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not apply to them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the Site.
